Today we visited Portsmouth, D-Day Museum was today's adventure, we were not able to take any pictures to speak of - basic coastal pictures.
We boarded a ferry for an overnight crossing to Le Havre...I swear I was on the Titantic! However, it was a worthwhile experiecne!! It was a very short night, as dad being the Navy Guy he is (no pun intended), decided that after we were settled into our room, we should go on deck and watch the boat depart from the harbor. It was near 1:30am by the time we went to bed and we were up and at'em at 5:15am!! It was a very short night!!
Saturday, June 4th, 2011 will note its own entry as it was a very special day for my father and for the 91st Bomb Guard Group!
