We are home safe and sound, our flight was long and not as easy on us as the flight to London, but none the less a good flight. It is great to be home, dad has settled into the everyday routine and is catching up on his sleep.
Our thanks can not be expressed in words, we are so very appreciative of the 91st Bomb Group and their invitation to attend the 2011 Rally Round UK and France with them! Also to Chris and Amy Murphy of the Tower Museum in Bassingbourn for being our tour guides! Their passion intensifies the experience and adds emotion to the memories! And we could not go without thanking Gary Hall and US Bank for making the trip possible for dad!
The friendships made will last at least as long as the history uncovered during this "once-in-a-lifetime" trip! Thank you all for everything you did for dad and I - if you're every in Nebraska, please look us up!
This isn't good bye...just so long for now!
Kerri & Guy
PS Thank you to everyone at home who followed the blog and kept us in your prayers!
